ESTATE PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATION
Estate planning is for everyone, not just the wealthy. The New Jersey Estate Tax now affects estates with assets of $675,000.00, or more. Estate planning also involves the orderly transfer of wealth from one generation to the next, and the preservation of wealth for younger generations. Through the use of a variety of Wills and Trusts, we provide strategies and solutions to carry out our clients' objectives, while avoiding estate taxes and other pitfalls and complications that often arise without proper planning. Our estate administration practice is designed to deal efficiently with the numerous details of estate administration, including asset management, settlement of estate debts, preparation of estate and inheritance tax returns, preparation of estate and trust accountings, trust funding, liquidation of assets, distributions to beneficiaries, and all other related services.
We have a long record of success in representing clients in will contests, contested accountings, and the related area of guardianship matters.
Elder law encompasses the myriad issues that pertain to planning for the aging process. We provide advice and techniques that empower our clients to provide for the management of their personal and financial affairs as they age. Through the use of Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, Living Trusts, and Medicaid Planning, we provide tools for our clients and their families to manage the various financial and personal concerns associated with aging and incapacity.
